The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zenskyy demanded that the United States react to a “brutal wild” Russian strike that he believed to kill more than 20 people.
“Directly on people. Ordinary citizens. The moment the pensions were paid,” Zenskyy said about the attack in A message on X.
The strike met the rural city of Yarova in the Donetsk region. Although Russia has denied that they are focusing on citizens, tens of thousands have been killed since the Moscow invasion in February 2022, Reuters reported.

“The Russians continue to destroy lives and avoid new strong sanctions and new strong strokes,” Zenskyy added. “The world should not remain silent. The world should not remain inactive … Strong actions are needed to stop Russia to bring death.”
Donetsk Gov. Vadym Filashkin said that the strike was not a ‘military operation’, but rather that it was ‘pure terrorism’, according to the KYIV Independent, They cited his telegram channel.
Zenskyy specifically called the US, Europe and the G-20 in its post on X after the strike, including a graphic video of the massacre.
Zenskyy in particular did not mention NATO. His demand for action from Europe and the G-20 comes when the NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte travels to the United Kingdom, where, according to NATO, he attends a meeting of Ukraine Defense Contact Group.

This month, Russia is launching the biggest attack on Ukraine after Trump’s meetings with Putin, Zenskyy
The White House still has to respond to the strike or the requirement of Zenskyy. The Trump government, however, has made the end of the Brutal War in Russia-Ukraine a priority, in which President Donald Trump meets both Zenskyyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Last month, Trump and Putin met face-to-face in the first meeting between the Russian leader and an American president since 2021. After the High-Stakes meeting, Trump and Putin seemed convinced that they had made progress in the direction of Vrede, despite the fact that many had hoped.

Zenskyy accuses Trump of Putin ‘what he wanted’ to give on Alaska Summit
Zenskyy seemed less convinced and he recently accused Trump of giving Putin “what he wanted” on the Alaska top.
“It’s a shame that Ukraine wasn’t there, because I think President Trump gave Putin what he wanted,” Zenskyy told ABC’s Martha Raddatz on September 7.
