Two youth baseball coaches were fired after a video apparently showed that they ran naked on the field for children, CBS News in Chicago reported.
The Lake Bluff Youth Baseball Association from the suburbs of Chicago said that it also sought the involvement of law enforcement in the case.
The incident took place during a tournament weekend in the Cooperstown, New York, area and received the 12-and-under team disqualified and the authorities involved, the station said to what extent is not clear.
“We deal with this issue with the biggest seriousness and have contacted relevant authorities,” the association said in a statement to CBS. “We will continue to support those authorities in their research into this issue. We have also taken immediate and decisive action by ending the assistant coaches involved.”
The edited fragment fragment (View it below) Shown by the outlet shows a coach who slides naked to the home plate when children – perhaps players – laugh and says, “Oh my God” while another says, “Wait, is he naked?”
The two coaches were not identified by the station because they did not have to be accused for anything.
