The Kansas City native melted after a critical interception of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes on the “ManningCast‘ for ‘Monday Night Football’.
With the score tied 14-14, Mahomes attempted to throw to receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster near the end zone, but Jacksonville linebacker Devin Lloyd picked off the pass and ran it back 99 yards for a touchdown.
“No, no, no, no, not that,” she said. “And he’s still going… nooooo…” she moaned.
She tried to dismiss the event by waving her hands before placing them on her head in annoyance.
“He ran all the yards,” she said sadly.
Gardner wouldn’t have been happy with what happened later either. Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence scored the winning touchdown despite falling twice during the game.
The Chiefs, who have won two of the last three Super Bowls and made it to the big game last season, are now 2-3.
Gardner has experienced her own career turnaround lately. She and Ego Nwodim were the big names among multiple departures from “SNL.” The 51st season just started with some new cast members.

But it appears her enthusiasm for the Chiefs won’t wane.
