Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr., did not comment this weekend on the arrest of her boyfriend Tiger Woods, who was charged with driving under the influence after a rollover accident in Florida.
Vanessa Trump, who has five children with the president’s son, reshared in an instant of her 18-year-old daughter, golfer Kai Trump, posing with tennis coach Jason Stacy and fellow golfer Allan Kournikova at the Miami Open tennis tournament.
She too posted a video from her daughter discussing how her mother introduced her to golf earlier reshare a photo of her daughter and 13-year-old son, Spencer Trump, alongside women’s tennis star Aryna Sabalenka with her trophy from her big win in the Miami Open final.
On Friday, Woods was charged with driving under the influence, property damage and refusing to take a urine test after rolling his Land Rover on its side in a crash involving a truck pulling a trailer near his home in Jupiter Island, Florida. Neither Woods nor the truck driver were injured, officials said.
The crash has left fans concerned about Woods’ well-being and sidelined talks whether he will compete in the Masters, which in itself was an unlikely move as he spent the last few weeks looking to get into shape for the big tournament.
Woods and the president’s former daughter-in-law have been dating for over a year. Their relationship received the seal of approval from President Donald Trump, who stated that he was “very happy” for them both.
Vanessa Trump has been “very supportive” of her boyfriend’s golf career, a source close to the couple said told People magazine on Mondays, although sometimes she has “her hands full” living her and her children’s lives.
“She is happy with him and any issues they have are not about her. It’s about dealing with his frustrations about playing great golf and his pain which is really limiting at times,” the source said.
In the questionable event of Woods playing in the Masters, the source said Trump would support her friend’s decision.
“She’s doing everything she can, but some of it is out of her control,” the source said.

Before Friday, Woods was arrested in 2017 for drunken driving when police found him asleep behind the wheel of his car, which was damaged and had its engine running.
He said in a statement at the time that he had taken a mix of prescription medications that led to an “unexpected reaction” and denied that alcohol was a factor in the episode. He was later found guilty of reckless driving.
In 2021, he suffered multiple injuries during a fast, near-fatal crash near Los Angeles.
He underwent subsequent surgeries for his injuries. His play has had an impact in the years since.
