In July, some of the smartest spirits in American technology descended on Washington to celebrate a large milestone: the launch of President Donald Trump’s bold initiative To ensure that the United States remain the unparalleled leader in the world in artificial intelligence (AI).
Let me be blunt: the AI weapon race is no longer theoretical. It’s here. And we can’t afford to come in second place.
In the business world, if you do not constantly adapt and innovate, you lose. Nations are no different. If we do not lead in AI, we risk surrendering our economic and national security advantage to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) – a regime that wants to dispute American technological supremation and reform the global order in its authoritarian image.
America has to win the AI race – and prepare you for the worst
Trump understands this. That is why his vision of American renewal is laser -oriented on innovation, in particular in AI and emerging technologies that will form our economy and define the nature of future conflicts.

We must stop being complacent with a slow, outdated and reactive government. The future requires urgency, ambition and an obligation to put America first in every turn. This is about building a trusted AI ecosystem led by American and decisive and decides in his ability to defend freedom.
There is a quote from Christian Brose’s book, “The Kill Chain”, which remained with me: “In the past decade, in American war games against China, the United States has an almost perfect record: we have lost almost every time.”
Details of Trump’s long -awaited AI plan unveiled by the White House prior to great speech
That is a wake -up call for every American.
The CCP is not only trying to compete. They try to dominate. From economic espionage and cyber infiltration to the operation of our supply chains and persuading our data, the CCP is working on full spectrum technological warfare. The next conflict does not look like the latter. It will win a battle for data, autonomy and algorithmic superiority – and the side that arranges the best AI will win.
This is not just a defense imperative; It is an economic. The AI infrastructure tree will generate thousands of well-paid jobs throughout the country. From building advanced data centers to production chips, American employees are the center of this effort. And ensuring that every family in this country has the opportunity to get a good job is how we win. That is why Trump’s action plan does not only emphasize innovation; The priority gives priority to the development of the workforce, the modernization of the energy supply and the secure supply chains.
The enormous energy sources of Wyoming will absolutely be crucial for winning this race. AI data centers require huge amounts of reliable, baseload force – the kind that Wyoming’s abundant coal and natural gas can deliver, 24/7, 365 days a year. While other states are struggling with expensive, intermittent energy sources, Wyoming offers both the reliable strength and the affordable rates that American companies give a decisive advantage. Our state is ready to make the AI revolution of America with the energy infrastructure that make our systems work affordably when national and economic security is at stake.

American production is the core of this effort, and that includes ensuring that our critical data stay at home here.

Let’s ask a simple question: do you want your personal data to be stored on American soil, protected by American employees and American laws – or housed in China, where it is subject to communist surveillance and exploitation?

This is not a hypothetical. It is already happening. And that is precisely the reason why American companies are investing billions to build advanced facilities at home. These are not only buildings filled with servers. Data centers are the digital backbone of everything, from TeleHealth and e-commerce to our intelligence services and defense systems. They are a crucial part of the AI puzzle and a national security agents that we cannot afford to outsource. But they are also huge energy consumers – which means that the affordable, reliable energy production of Wyoming is essential to run these facilities 24/7.
Lee Zeldin: Trump’s EPA who cleans up the regulation path for America to dominate the global AI revolution
Trump’s plan rightly focuses on removing barriers and difficult regulations to enable the rapid construction of data centers. His first AI agenda of America is the route map. But it is up to all of us, from the private sector to the congress, to take the action needed to push us ahead. We cannot afford to be naive about the economic and national security risks to fall behind.
