The tragic political murder in Minnesota also hit the parade of Trump along the headlines, and then there is the fact that the presence for the parade was not close to what the administration expected.

There were indications that this could have happened earlier in the day, because local reporters reported that Washington, DC, was essentially a ghost city for the parade.
