President Donald Trump arrived in Scotland on Friday and wasted little time on European leaders on mass immigration, warning that the crisis ‘kills’ the continent and calls it a ‘terrible invasion’.
Trump has fulfilled an important campaign blade by effectively closing the southern border with Mexico, while Europe and the UK are still struggling to get a grip on the crisis, because dozens of boats full of illegal migrants flow into the country every day.
“With immigration you better get your act together or you will no longer have Europe,” Trump told reporters after landing on Prestwick Airport on Friday evening.

“You have to get your act together and last month we had no one who entered our country. Nobody. Close it. And we took out a lot of bad people who came to Biden.”
Biden repeatedly had a few days when fear ranged from 8,000 to 10,000 migrants, with its highest single month of December 2023, when 249,785 Border Patrol -Vrees were registered.
“Biden was a totally stiff. And what he allowed to happen,” Trump continued, reproduced his predecessor.
“But you allow it to happen to your countries and you have to stop this terrible invasion that happens to Europe.”

“Many countries in Europe, some people, some leaders have not let it happen. And they don’t get the right creditworthiness. They could now call them, but I am not going to embarrass the others. But stop this. Immigration kills Europe.”
The UK saw a large increase in 2022 and 2023 when small boat transitions reached more than 44,000 a year, according to government figures.
Almost 22,500 people have arrived in the UK so far this year after crossing the English channel, an increase of 57% at the same point last year.
The net migration to the UK was 431,000 last year, a decrease of almost 50% compared to 2023.
Hungary and Poles are two of the most prominent European countries that take hardline positions against immigration, in particular irregular migration and asylum seekers. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is an ally of Trump.
Trump is in the United Kingdom for a five -day trip where he will check in with his golf resorts in Turnberry and Aberdeen, as well as with British Prime Minister Kier Starmer and head of the Scottish government, Prime Minister John Swinney.

“I love your prime minister. He is more liberal than me, as you probably heard. But he is a good man, he has made a trade agreement,” Trump said reporters. “And they have been working on this deal for 12 years. He has done it. It’s a good deal. It’s a good deal for the UK”
Trump added that he would meet Ursula von der Leyen, president of the European Commission about concluding a trade agreement with Europe.
“We meet the European Union. And that would actually be the biggest deal of them all if we make it,” said Trump.
