President Donald Trump called on European leaders to stop “financing” of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s war in Ukraine and accused them of not putting pressure on China.
“The president also emphasized that European leaders must exert the economic pressure on China for the financing of the war efforts of Russia,” the civil servant added.

Putin invites Zenskyy for a meeting in Moscow for safety talks while bombarding Ukraine
The EU has drastically reduced its import of Russian oil after the invasion of Ukraine, although the president’s comments indicate that it has not completely cut off its energy imports from Moscow.
The White House did not confirm where it achieved its figures or the time period that it referred to.

In a post on X, Zenskyy said that the meeting focused on improving “pressure” on Putin to end his three and a half year war.
“We spoke about how we can push the situation to real peace,” said Zenskyy. “We have discussed various options, and the most important is busy, the use of strong measures, in particular economic, to force an end to the war.
“The key to peace is calculating the Russian war of money, the deprivation of resources,” he added.
“Ukraine has proposed a size to protect our skies in the US to consider,” said Zenskyy. “I thank President Trump for supporting our people. We have agreed on further contacts.”
The meeting came only one day after Putin met Chinese President Xi Jinping and the Noord -Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Bejing for a military parade to commemorate the end of the hostilities from the Second World War 80 years ago.
Both China and Noord -Korea remained steadfast supporters of Putin during his war in Ukraine and amidst reprimand from the West.

Putin also invited Zenskyy on Wednesday to meet him in Moscow, who have marked Ukrainian and Western security officials as unfair to Trump for the couple to meet.
Trump said he will talk to Putin in the coming days.
