The Wall Street Journal is a conservative mainstream publication that will never be seen as liberal, and therefore the fact that the WSJ prepared to publish a big story about Trump’s close relationship with Jeffrey Epstein brought the president to panic.
The status newsletter reported:
The article, which is said to have been in the making for days, was still not published from Thursday afternoon – Cleaning up eyebrows and feeding speculation in Washington and New York.
According to people who are familiar with the case, the magazine is put under pressure from the White House about the story. Trump is said to have mentioned Emma Tucker, the editor -in -chief of the magazine, to express his objections. The details of the call remain unclear, but it is difficult to imagine that Trump expressed anything but indignation. It is unclear whether Trump contacted Rupert Murdoch, whose news corporation owns the magazine.
While the details of what the magazine is planning to report, remain under wraps, the story would contain new material that sheds light on the Trump-Eppein relationship.
If the CNN, the Washington Post or the New York Times who had this story, the White House might not be so hectic to kill it. The administration would attack the story as fake news and count on the fact that those media were poisoned a long time ago, so the chances that Trump’s supporters believe that something from those sources is minimal.
The Wall Street Journal is a different story. An exclusive that contains Bombshells from the magazine is likely to be believed in the political spectrum.
If the story has nothing, Trump could have grabbed it during his first term by releasing everything. The Epstein complott theories were born because the Trump government was shaded after Epstein died in prison.
As soon as Trump lost the 2020 elections, he leaned to the Epstein and tried to use them for political gain.
The crisis with which this administration currently has to do is the creation of Trump. Donald Trump responded to the expectation of his supporters that he would keep his campaign blade to release everything on Epstein by trying to close them off.
The story goes nowhere, and with points of sale such as the Wall Street Journal that digging around, chances are that it can get much worse.
It is not the 34 fraud crime convictions or the E. Jean Carroll right case that has caused the most damage to Trump. Two accusations and accusations of collaborations with a hostile foreign power bounced by Donald Trump as if they were nothing.
What holds Donald John Trump is Jeffrey Epstein.
When Trump’s second term started, no one would have said that Trump’s biggest problem would be Jeffrey Epstein by the summer of 2025.
Even if Trump can kill the WSJ story, there will be others.
If the most comfortable arms dogs in the company press challenge the Trump administration on this, the dam is about to break and even greater problems can come.
