There was an effort Tuesday by the White House to get the rest of the world to open the Strait of Hormuz, even though Trump is the president who started a war that led to its closure.
Trump posted on his social media site a call for the rest of the world to commit piracy:
For all those countries that can’t get jet fuel because of the Strait of Hormuz, like Britain, which refused to get involved in the beheading of Iran, I have a suggestion for you: Number 1, buy in the US, we have plenty, and Number 2, gather some delayed courage, go to the Strait and just TAKE IT. You will have to learn how to fight for yourself, the US will no longer be there to help you, just like you were not there for us. Iran has effectively been decimated. The hard part is done. Go get your own oil! Chairman DJT
Trump then whined about France, because his war is obviously all France’s fault:
The country of France would not allow planes bound for Israel, loaded with military supplies, to fly over French territory. France has been VERY UNHELPFUL regarding the “Butcher of Iran” who has been successfully eliminated! The US will remember!!! Chairman DJT
Pete Hegseth held another of his press conferences, where he complained that the rest of the world wasn’t cleaning up Trump’s mess for him, but none of this came out of the blue.
