Adelita Grijalva will finally be sworn in to the House of Representatives on Wednesday, meaning the discharge Epstein files will reach the required 218 signature threshold to force a vote in the House on legislation to force the DOJ to release the files.
In the hours before this critical moment, House Democrats have released several damning emails from Epstein linking Trump to the sex trafficker. and House Republicans on the Oversight Committee have prepared another Trump-approved Epstein document dump.
None of these maneuvers are coincidental.
Democrats are trying to show why it is urgent for the files to be released. Republicans are sending the message that the discharge petition is unnecessary because they are releasing documents on their own.
Donald Trump has been working behind the scenes with Chairman Mike Johnson for months on a cover-up of Epstein files. Trump is deeply involved in the efforts to block and prevent the release of the files.
The White House absolutely does not want the vote on the discharge petition to take place in the House.
Why they are so afraid of this vote is a bit of a mystery, because even if the House were to vote to force the release of the records, the legislation would still have to go to and be approved by the Senate.
Only the vote in the House of Representatives does not release the files.
Trump is so afraid of the dismissal request that he personally tries to stop it.
