The solar energy for all the program was part of President Biden’s inflation reduction law. The program would provide $ 7 billion in subsidies to homeowners with low and average income to help them pay solar panels for their houses.
The Trump government announced on Tuesday that they illegally were able to cancel the congress-to-system program and tried to reduce the subsidy money that was supposed to go to Americans with a low and average income.
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) wrote the solar energy for all legislation and he shot Trump for illegal cancellation of the program:
I have introduced the solar energy for all programs to defeat electrical accounts for working families with a maximum of 80% – to put money back in the pockets of ordinary Americans, not fossil fuel billionaires.
Now Donald Trump wants to kill this program illegally to protect the obscene profit of his friends in the oil and gas industry. That’s outrageous.
Solar for all means lower utility accounts, many thousands of well -paid jobs and real action to tackle the existential threat of climate change. At a time when working families are crushed by the upcoming costs of the energy costs and the planet literally burns, sabotaging this program is not only wrong – it is absolutely insane.
We will fight back to retain this extremely important program.
Trump is clearly owned by the fossil fuel industry, as evidenced by the fact that fossil fuel companies gave him millions through his Super PAC campaign through his super PAC campaign, and since he took office, Trump has not done anything on the energy policy that continues renewable energy and promoting fossil fuel.
Behind Trump’s babbling over windmills and lies about renewable energy is an agenda that is determined to restore America for decades in terms of energy independence and job growth.
Trump does much more than complaining about windmills. The president takes steps to make electrical and heating accounts more expensive by refusing the American people cheaper energy sources. Trump also kills jobs in the green energy sector.
Presidents cannot kill one -sided programs. The courts have repeatedly ruled against Trump when he tried to do this.
Now the president tries to make your utility accounts more expensive, all for his rich donors in the fossil fuel industry.
