During a recent YouTube appearance, former President Barack Obama was asked if aliens were real, and he replied, “They are real, but I haven’t seen them, and they are not being held at Area 51. There is no underground facility.”
Obama was clearly having fun, but the internet was following along with what he said, so the former president followed up with an Instagram post:
I tried to stick to the spirit of the speed lap, but since it’s gotten attention, let me clarify.
Statistically speaking, the universe is so vast that there is a good chance that there is life.
But the distances between solar systems are so great that the likelihood that we have been visited by aliens is slim, and I have seen no evidence of aliens contacting us during my presidency. Real!
It sounds like Obama, who has always veered toward nerdiness, gave his opinion on aliens in a very awkward and nerdy way.
No problem there, right?
Donald Trump, who is about as cheerful as an ingrown toenail, had a problem with what Obama said.
When asked about Obama’s comments about aliens, Trump claimed that Obama had leaked classified information.
Read on below to see how a man who stole classified documents and kept them in his bathroom thought he had the moral high ground to criticize Barack Obama.
