The Trump government takes a hard attitude against drug traders. State Secretary Marco Rubio announced in Ecuador during a joint press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country that President Donald Trump wants to “wage war” against Narco-terrorists.
“It is a war against murderers. It is a war against fear. These are not narco-returners, these are narco-terrorists who terrorize the countries in which they work,” said Rubio.
Although he said that the US was willing to support Ecuador in its fight against drug traders, he added that the relationship between the two countries would not be about safety. The State Secretary said that the US wants to expand her “lively economic relationship” with the South American nation.

The comments came when he announced the new names of Los Choneros and Los Lobos as foreign terrorist organizations. Both groups originated in Ecuador. Rubio promises more strikes on Venezuelan cartels: ‘We are not going to lean back’
Rubio emphasized the importance of the designation and said that it enables nations to share intelligence that “can be performed for potentially fatal operations”, so that the host country could eliminate the terrorists.
The State Secretary also discussed threats from Venezuela and the American strike in the country. He claimed that the United Nations suggested that Venezuela is not involved in drug trafficking.
“I don’t care what the UN is saying. The UN does not know what they are talking about. Maduro is being sued by a large jury in the southern district of New York,” said Rubio about the Venezuelan dictator.

“That means that the southern district of New York presented the evidence to a large jury, and a large jury suggested him. And then a replacement indictment came out of that was unlocked about a year and a half ago, which was specifically detailed Maduro’s actions. So number one, leaves no doubt about the Soles Maduro. And he is a fugitive of American justice. “
Rubio also referred to ‘cooperative governments’, of which he said it would help the US to identify and find drug traders.
“They are going to help us identify them – they are going to help us find and blow up these people, if what is needed. They will help us with it,” said Rubio.
Earlier this week, American Marines carried out an unprecedented strike on a cartel -processed ship for Venezuela. This indicated that the Trump administration achieved a harder new approach to combat international drug trafficking. The strike killed 11 members of Tren de Aragua, who indicates the Trump government in February as a terrorist organization.
