The Trump government tries to disconnect two events that are clearly related. The administration has canceled the planned briefing to the congress on the bombing in Iran, and then it was reported that the first American assessment was that Iran’s nuclear program was not destroyed and possibly only been restored for months by Trump’s bombing.
The American military allows three of Iran’s nuclear facilities last weekend, did not destroy the core components of the country’s nuclear program and probably only brought it with months ago, according to an early American intelligence assessment described by four people who were informed.
The assessment, which has not been reported before, was produced by the Defense Intelligence Agency, the intelligence arm of the Pentagon. It is based on a Battle Damage Assessment carried out by US Central Command in the aftermath of the American strikes, one of the sources said.

Two of the people who are familiar with the assessment said that Iran’s stock of enriched uranium was not destroyed. One of the people said that the centrifuges are largely ‘intact.
Trump was wrong when he claimed that the Iranian nuclear program was ‘erased’. Trump has no information that the strike managed to eliminate Iran’s nuclear program.
