President Donald Trump again called on all European partners in NATO alliance on Tuesday to reduce dependence on Russian oil.
In his long -term speech to the General Assembly of the United Nations, Trump accused NATO fellow people of ‘Financing the war against himself’.
“Who has ever heard of that?” Trump mocked.

Trump demands the NATO bondmen, stop Russian oil -purchases before new American sanctions
“China and India are the primary financiers of the current war by continuing to buy Russian oil,” he said. “But unforgettable, even NATO countries have not cut much Russian energy and Russian energy products, which I, as you know, discovered no more than two weeks ago and I was not happy.”
European countries drastically reduced their dependence on Moscow’s oil after the Russian president Vladimir Putin’s February 2022 Invasion of Ukraine, although they did not completely demolish it.
Hungary, Slovakia, France, Belgium and Spain remain Europe’s best importers of Russian energy.
While Hungary and Slovakia continue to buy Russian oil, France is the second largest European buyer of Russian energy and the liquid natural gas (LNG) continues to import.

LNG has largely bypassed the EU sanctions and the constant import of Russian energy through Paris is due to the re-existing “taking or paying” contracts that run through the early 2030s that require France to continue to import the energy or face fines.
Earlier this month, Trump had the problem with European countries that continue to buy Russian oil, but on Tuesday he adjusted his comments to record all Russian energy imports – in particular a shift that broke the day after France with the US about the issue of the Palestinian state.
“In the event that Russia is not ready to close a deal to end the war, the United States is completely willing to impose a very strong round of powerful rates that the bloodshed would stop, I believe, very quickly,” Trump said. “But for those rates to be effective, European countries, you have now been collected here, have to participate with us to take exactly the same measures.”

“You are much closer to the city. We have an ocean in between. You are there and Europe has to perform it,” he added. “They must immediately stop all energy purchases from Russia, otherwise we will all waste a lot of time.”
Trump said that this week he will talk to Euroepan leaders about the issue about the UN.
