Trump limit Tsar Tom Homan went on Fox News and first tried to blame the media for the public who turned against the right-wing deportation agenda.
Homan said:

The arresting of threats of public safety and threats of national security, everyone is on the same page. Saving children, I mean, it should be a non -party -related issue. Everyone should be a final step on that. But they are not. The media is lying. The Democrats are – they don’t want President Trump to be successful. I have news for them. We are successful. Every illegal alien, public safety threat we arrest makes this country safer. Every national security threat that we take from the street and deporting makes us safer.

The problem is that the majority of those who are arrested and deported are not criminals or national security. They are average people who have not done anything criminal. Remember that illegal access to the country, a visa is, is a civil crime, not a criminal offense.
