President Trump announced on Friday that his administration is launching a probe in the furniture import to determine new rating rates on documents that enter the country.
“I am pleased to announce that we are conducting a large tariff research into furniture that comes in the United States,” Trump posted on his social account on Friday afternoon. “Within the next 50 days that research will be completed, and furniture that comes to the United States from other countries will be hit at a rate to be determined.”

The president noted that the investigation, together with the subsequent tasks, is aimed at reviving furniture production in states such as North Carolina, South Carolina and Michigan.

“This brings the furniture company back to North Carolina, South Carolina, Michigan and states everywhere in the Union,” Trump added. “Thank you for your attention for this issue!”
Trump’s tariff income has been raised in just a few months and rises after 2024 levels

Earlier this month, Trump praised a “nice” increase in tariff income on imported goods, so that the trade policy of his administration for a stream of cash in the US economy was abolished.
