Several recent news stories inspired me to think about a way to help those most in need in our country. Especially those who are being ripped off in our “blue” states.
The first story concerns the tens of billions of taxpayer dollars stolen by organized fraud rings in Minnesota, California, New York and a number of other “blue” states. Some estimates range from well over $100 billion. Literally the equivalent of the gross national product of many countries on earth being stolen from the American people.
The following story is about the growing controversy surrounding the personal wealth of far-left Minnesota Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar. Many have wondered for years whether Omar legally entered the United States and what her legal status is at this time. But along with that mystery comes one news story after another that seems to document that her and her husband’s personal wealth has skyrocketed recently. Inquiring minds want to know “how?”
Just a year ago, the congressman’s required federal financial disclosure form listed two assets with a combined maximum of about $51,000. Now these two assets are listed at a combined maximum of about $30 million. What’s Omar’s secret, besides stock tips from former Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi? Or: what is she hiding?

Finally, there was a recent, very telling report by Fareed Zakaria on CNN, which stated, in part, “When America has an affordability crisis, it tends to be in places where Democrats rule, like New York, Illinois, and California, all of which have high taxes, rising housing costs, and stagnant outcomes in basic areas like education and infrastructure…” Always a bit shocking when CNN and the larger left admit to destructive policies of the left, but in this case truly welcome and much needed.
CNN via Zakaria said the quiet part out loud. That said, in reality, it is the poorest and most disadvantaged people in these Democratic-controlled “blue” states who are – quite literally – paying the highest price for the ideological incompetence offered by the far left in those states. Men, women and children who have long been taken for granted by the left.
But out of such Democrat-induced chaos and misery could come much clarity and… greater “affordability” for the poorest in those beleaguered states. As the Trump administration continues to successfully recover billions in stolen taxpayer dollars from those “blue” states, I propose that it institute a “lottery” for the poorest and most disadvantaged legal citizens in those states.

Once established, pick a name from the barrel each day and reward that person $10,000. As someone who grew up homeless as a child, I can assure you that such an amount is life-changing for those without.

Such a lottery would have four direct benefits. First, it would capture the news cycle and spread like wildfire. Then it would make millions in these “blue” states – and tens of millions more across the country – aware of the fraud perpetrated on them, while lingering in their minds as to who just set up the lottery to help them.
It would then demonstrate much-needed and desired accountability for such theft. And finally, it would bring hope to those who have felt neglected and abandoned for decades.

For decades, far-left criminal gangs – often aided by far-left politicians – have successfully stolen billions of dollars from the American people. Now that the Trump administration has exposed this theft, you can turn the script on those who masterminded and supported these schemes by helping those most affected by the crimes. The “Hunger Games” created by the left become the “Feeding Games” for those without.
I can assure you that millions of Americans will sign up for such a necessary – and eye-opening – lottery.
