A model and former Miss Universe participant from Russia died last week of injuries she sustained after a moose crashed through the windshield of her Porsche, according to a report.
Kseniya Alexandrova, 30, died of serious brain injury due to the accident that occurred while on July 5 with her husband in Tver, Russia, Russian news output Ria reported. She stayed in a coma in the hospital until her death on August 12.
Alexandrova and her husband came back from RZHEV when the collision with the moose took place on the M -9 Highway, the outlet reported.
The husband, who was not mentioned in the report, said there was no time to respond to the animal that jumped in front of the Porsche Panamera of the pair, and added that he and Alexandrova wore both safety belts and rode at a low speed during the collision.

“From the moment it jumped on the impact, a fraction of a second passed by. I had no time to do anything,” he told the outlet valve translated from Russian.
Alexandrova, who was sitting in the passenger seat, ran a head injury when the animal ran through the windshield to the cabin of the car, her husband told the exhaust.

“She was unconscious, her head was broken, everything was covered with blood. The frontal bones of the skull were broken-it was an open skull brain injury,” he said.

The couple was only married before the freak accident, according to her Instagram. She was also a psychologist who obtained her diploma from the Pedagogical State University of Moscow, according to a post from November 2022 on her social media.

Alexandrova represented Russia in the Miss Universe Pageant 2017 and became second in the Miss Russia competition earlier that year.
Alexandrova’s modeling agency, Vivendis mode, confirmed her death in a statement written in Russian and posted on the Instagram of the office on 13 August.
“It is with great sadness that we inform you that our colleague and friend, model Kseniya Alexandrova, died last night,” said the translated explanation.
