Electrolux Group is recalling more than 174,000 Frigidaire gas ranges due to an oven-related issue causing burns to users.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the recall affects approximately 169,500 units sold in the U.S. and 5,300 in Canada.
The agency said the ovens in the ranges may experience delayed ignition of the baking burner, posing a risk of burns to users.

The recall concerns the Frigidaire, Frigidaire Gallery and Frigidaire Professional gas stove models:

The models have the serial number range from VF52200000 to VF54399999. Both numbers are printed on a nameplate in the drawer under the oven.
The CPSC said consumers should immediately stop using the recalled series and contact Electrolux, which will install a new frying pan at home free of charge. The agency said consumers can still use the stovetop burners on the stove.

Electrolux and the CPSC are aware of 62 reports of delayed ignition of the oven’s baking burner, including 30 reports of burns.

The ranges were sold from June 2025 through January 2026 at Lowe’s, Home Depot and other retailers nationwide, as well as through Frigidaire’s website for between $630 and $2,700.
