The Mega Millions jackpot is $900 million in Tuesday night’s drawing

The Mega Millions jackpot continues to set records and now offers the eighth largest jackpot in the history of the game.

“The estimated jackpot for the next drawing on Tuesday, November 11 is a whopping $900 million ($415.3 million cash),” Mega Millions said in a press release on Saturday.

As the jackpot marches towards the $1 billion mark, it is “only the third time the jackpot has reached this level since the current gaming record of $1.602 billion was won in Florida on August 8, 2023.”

During the last drawing on Friday, there were 688,058 winning tickets for non-jackpot prizes totaling more than $13.8 million.

MEGA MILLIONS JACKPOT JUMPES ABOVE $800 MILLION

The last major win for the game, where tickets cost $5 each to play, was on June 27 in Virginia.

Prior to June jackpot winner, other big payouts were in Ohio in April, Illinois in March and Arizona in January.

The largest Mega Millions jackpot ever, $1.692 billion, was paid out in August 2023 on a single winning ticket purchased in Florida.

Tickets are sold in 45 states, Washington, DC and the US Virgin Islands. Most purchase limits are one to two hours before the drawing, which takes place at 11:00 PM Eastern Time on Tuesdays and Fridays in Atlanta, Georgia.

“The overall odds of winning a Mega Millions prize are 1 in 23; the odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 290,472,336,” said Mega Millions.
