The humanitarian situation in Gaza has been a central focus of international debate since Hamas’ war with Israel began in 2023. Long -term aid organizations and new people have rushed to offer Palestinians critical support. But in particular, one group has received a recoil for trying to supply food to the strip, the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) supported by the US and Israel.

Because the US supported by the US supplies 70 million meals, UN and NGOs are fighting to discredit Gaza Aid Rival
Despite the criticism and accusations of violence against Palestinians who seek help at the distribution locations, GHF has delivered more than 76 million meals since the operation at the end of May. Truzman said that Hamas took note – and responds to the success of the GHF, because the terror organization was unable to control the help of them.
“So, for example, “Palestinian citizens need this help to clearly survive and they count on Hamas to do it. So this is how Hamas could control the population.”

Hamas’ Distraction of help was something that the US was when the GHF started to support as a way to provide Palestinians with what they need without having terrorists grab it. In June, when the US announced $ 30 million in financing for the GHF, the main spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tommy Pigott praised the work of the organization to distribute help “while Hamas looting was prevented.”
The United Nations have been particularly critical of the GHF, something that Truzman attributes more to the “very anti-Israeli attitude” of the UN and institutional bias than the desire of civil servants to hold on to methods used in the past.

“I think the UN is very unhappy in the situation that they no longer have control, at least, to spread help in the Gaza Strip,” Truzman said.
On Tuesday, GHF said direct director Rev. Johnnie Moore that his organization “helped to have the UN re -automatic when Israel reopened access to Gaza.”
