Donald Trump is failing and sinking fast. Trump spoke for eight minutes and did not mention a single issue important to the American people.
Trump’s main message was that everything is excellent, and that Democrats are responsible for everything he didn’t do.
Trump said:
I bring those high prices. And take them down very quickly. Let’s look at the facts. Under the Biden administration, car prices rose 22% and in many states 30% or more, gasoline prices rose 30 to 50%. Hotel rates increased by 37%. Airfares increased by 31%. Now, under our leadership, they are all coming down quickly.
Democratic politicians also caused the costs of groceries to skyrocket, but we will solve that too. The price of a Thanksgiving turkey was 33% lower than last year’s Biden. The price of eggs has fallen 82% since March, and everything else is falling rapidly. And it’s not done yet. But boy, are we making progress.
No one can believe what’s going on.
No one believes it because it’s a lie.
Donald Trump tried to convince America that prices are falling and incomes are rising. None of this was true.
Trump left out the fact that incomes are rising due to inflation, but he claimed that tariffs are growing the economy, while the Federal Reserve stated that Trump’s tariffs are dragging the economy down.
It was like Trump trying to sell a timeshare in Florida in a 3am infomercial.
