Washington, DC Elites and the media are in a frenzy about the political persecution of former FBI director James Comey. Not an hour passes on cable news without talking about one or more segments.
Although Comey’s persecution matters in terms of the big whole, the abuse of power of Trump to take revenge on his imagined political enemies, the courts will probably quickly throw away this thin case.
The regular media spend too much time discussing a distraction, without the deeper context of the implications of what Trump is trying to do, while ignoring the issue that is most important for the vast majority of Americans.
