Whether it’s a carton of milk or a gift for your cousin who just decided to come home for Christmas, there are always last-minute items you need to make your holiday complete. Several U.S. stores will be open or have modified hours on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to ensure customers can get what they need for the holidays.
Many companies specify that customers can place orders online, but stores closed on Christmas Day are unlikely to be able to process orders on the same day.
Aldi
Aldia national grocery chain with more than 2,100 stores in 38 states, will be closed on Christmas Day. Aldi’s website states that locations will have limited opening hours on Christmas Eve.
Best buy
Best Buy does not specifically say whether its locations are open or closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. However, the website store locator shows that many of the locations are closed on Christmas Day.
BJs Wholesale Club
BJ’s Wholesale Club locations are open from 8am to 6pm on Christmas Eve and the stores’ optical departments are open from 10am to 5pm. All BJ’s Wholesale Club locations, including gas stations, will be closed on Christmas Day.

It appears that CVS stores are open at different hours on Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day. Customers can find the hours of their CVS location at the company’s store locator page.
Home Depot
Home Depot stores are open until 5pm on Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day. The company suggests customers check it store locator tool to see the hours of their local Home Depot.
Ikea
IKEA stores, locations, warehouses, deliveries and customer services will be closed on Christmas Day. The company does not have specific hours for Christmas Eve and recommends that customers visit the store locator to look up the opening hours of their local IKEA.
Lowe’s
The Lowes store locator shows that many of the locations will have limited opening hours on Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas Day. The company says many of its service departments will close at 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve and will remain closed through Christmas Day.
