Republicans have been very good in Fairing since the 1960s. In the course of the decades, Fear Mongeren is about crime Hardwired in the DNA of the party. That does not mean that sometimes crime has not been a problem. Crime has definitely been a problem at various points in recent history.
Is crime so serious in 2025 that troops should be used?
The answer is no.
Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) has tackled why Trump invented a crime crisis at Meet the Press.
Murphy said:
The crime went up during the first term of Donald Trump and when Joe Biden became president, the president’s crime began to come. In fact, it is quickly down in Washington and in cities throughout the country. So it’s just not true. The claim that they do here in Washington, DC, DC is just a stunt.
Donald Trump did not like the fact that the walls approached him. His own basis was to ask why he would not release the Epstein files. Why he protected very powerful people.
He no longer wanted to talk about the fact that our health care system is about to collapse because of the cuts they have made. The premiums will rise by 75% Americans, and so can be transformed. He just decided to create a new cycle. Nothing else happens today in the Capitol of the United States. The crime will not continue to fall. There are troops here. National Guard troops here. He just tries to distract from the stories he doesn’t want Americans to talk about.
