The American transport secretary Sean Duffy on Saturday shared photos of outdated equipment in a Minnesota Air Traffic Control Tower on Duluth International Airport, promised upgrades funded by the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act”.
“These are a few photos of the outdated equipment that I saw during my tour by an air traffic controller,” Duffy posted on X on Saturday afternoon with several photos of the site.

Duffy toured the air traffic controller on Saturday. The tower, built in the 1950s, is one of the oldest operational air traffic control towers in the nation, according to the website of Duluth International Airport.
The transport secretary said that the site will receive new radar systems, upgraded satellite communication, new telecommunications systems and modern surface technology, financed by the $ 12.5 billion allocated in the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” for revising the country.
