A recall is underway in the US for tens of thousands of chains and polar saws with electrically registered that can form a “cracking” for users.
The recall, published on Thursday by PosTec Tool Corporation, was inspired by the risk that the main switch was approximately 49,000 hypertoer 9 AMP electric chainsaws with electric chainsaws with an electric chains with an electric chains of 9 AMP, WORX 8 AMP electric pole saws and Portland 9 AMP 14-inch chainszagen.

The company posted on a webpage about the recall and said that “this recall was carried out to keep our customers safe and prevent injuries by removing the problem products.”

The problem has not caused known injuries or incidents.

The sale of the recalled sawing took place between September last year and March of this year at Walmart for the Hypertoer brand and port forces for the Portland brand, according to the CPSC recall knowledge. Positec gives affected customers a replacement saw after they have returned the recall. They must “contact Positec for a pre-paid shipping label and a new compartment if necessary, to return the units for free” to receive the replacement, according to the CPSC knowledge.
