The Russian and Chinese soldiers practiced in destroying an “enemy” submarine during joint maritime exercises on Wednesday, just a few days after President Donald Trump had moved a few nuclear submarines to Russia, a report said.
The exercises include IL-38 aircraft from the Russian Pacific Fleet and Chinese Y-8 Anti-Submariene aircraft, according to Reuters, And came after Trump announced last Friday that he ordered “two nuclear submarines who would be placed in the right regions” after “very provocative statements” of the former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.
“As a result of effective joint actions, the ‘enemy’ submarine was immediately detected and mocked,” said the Russian Ministry of Defense on Wednesday after the naval exercises in the sea of Japan, Reuters reported. “After practicing anti-muting tasks, the crews of the Russian and Chinese ships thanked each other for their fertile work.”

MEDVEDEV said earlier last week that Trump’s new deadline for Russia to end the conflict with Ukraine is an extra ‘step towards war’.
“Based on the highly provocative statements of the former president of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, who is now the vice chair of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, I ordered two nuclear submarines that are placed in the correct regions, in case this foolish and inflammatory statements said.
