The issues that have been discussed at the US Supreme Court in the United States of America v. Skrmetti are quite academic for most Americans. The court concluded on 18 June that states can protect children against dangerous proceedings for gender transition. Most people don’t have to know more than they want about what happens in many hospitals in America.
But it is different for me and for thousands of other people who are cheated by negligent doctors and harmful policy. I was part of the experiment.
The “procedures” about which the lawyers debated, concerned by doctors, counselor brought by drugs and operations that have been described as harmful, unnecessary and high risk through research and rigorous assessed studies.

I was not informed of all the risks involved when I was told to use these medicines. I did not receive an ethical or evidence-based treatment. I got life -changing drugs and operations based on pseudoscience and the unique fact that I hated myself.

I believed that the lies that my doctors told me because I was vulnerable due to abuse and trauma. By the time I was 14, I was raped, became pregnant and a miscarriage suffered. By 16 I was diagnosed with anorexia, fear and obsessive-compulsive disorder and was admitted to the hospital for depression and self-harm. I tried to kill myself several times. A medical resident spoke with me and suddenly decided, despite all my other documented physical and mental health struggle, that my real problems were a “gender identity crisis”.
None of my delusions were questioned, despite a history of serious mental disorders and disorders that influenced my ability to perceive reality. Although I was being treated for a body dysfore condition, I was at the same time told to pursue gender transition procedures to believe I was a boy.

In the beginning these efforts were hidden from my parents. When they finally find out healthcare Providers bullying them to give permission with lies that had no basis in reality. They said that the trauma reactions that I described were ‘gender dysphoria’, which Greenlicht for Testosterone at the age of 17. At the age of 18 I underwent a double mastectomy. It all happened so quickly, but it took my mind to be good enough for years to even realize what damage had been caused.
I still live with that damage and the life -changing consequences of the unnecessary medicines and surgery I was given. The testosterone changed me – not only my appearance, but the structure of my body. My endocrine system now does not function without external hormones. And I cannot regulate my hormones alone. I will never be able to take care of my own children because they have removed my healthy breasts.
So it’s hard for me – and so many people lied – to understand why the Biden administration and groups such as the American Civil Liberties Union Thought these drugs and operations were a magical bullet to cure suffering – especially when growing international evidence reveals that these drugs and operations do not help, and countries leave and ban these practices throughout Europe.

Respected scientists say that these procedures cause a lot of damage. My body says it too. Fortunately, more than half of our 50 states have now adopted laws to prevent the medical profession from promoting these dangerous procedures. And in October 2024 a national poll showed that a majority of Americans support a federal law that protects children against experimented with Puberty blockers and unnecessary, body -changing operations.

Nevertheless, activists and the previous administration continued to try to prevent states from ensuring that children were given health care rooted in biological reality and truth. States such as Alabama, Idaho and now Tennessee – in the Skrmetti case that Supreme Court Just decided – were all forced to defend their right to regulate care providers and to protect children.
I was one of those children. I will suffer for the rest of my life because, in my confusion, the people who have perpetuated these cruel lies.
But what happened to me – and so many others they are Detansitioning – is a tragedy to be prevented. I certainly don’t like to relive and tell everything I have experienced for courts, journalists and an audience, which terrible things have inflicted these transition procedures.
But the people I thought they would save me to save me, drug me and removed my healthy breasts. I don’t want that to happen to another child. I don’t want someone to experience the pain that I now stand for every day. I want people to have the truth, not lies. I want everyone to live full and flowering lives.

That is why I testified to support the Tennessee Act that was challenged in Skrmetti. And that is why I am so happy that the Supreme Court has confirmed the law.
I am part of the experiment and the experiment is a catastrophic failure. No one has the right to harm a child, and I will continue to argue for truth, love and science to protect the children of our nation.
