A GHF team will investigate the leader, determine their needs and set up the first distribution of food aid. Boxes are collected by the locals at a predetermined location, and GHF will verify that boxes are distributed to help recipients mentioned by the community leader.

With the help of this method, GHF worked with Gazan NGO Al-Amal to successfully deliver around 2,000 food aid boxes to residents of Central Gaza.
Although GHF has delivered 67 million meals since the start of the activities in May, it has been criticized for his distribution model, in which Gazanen had to reach one of the four distribution points to receive help.
Critics, including the UN, UNRWA and other auxiliaries, have seized reports that recipients of help have been shot and even killed by the Israel Defense Forces during the search for GHF help. The IDF said those reports “are false.”

GHF leaders have also accused Hamas of hoarding humanitarian aid and selling or using the help “for compulsory purposes”.

GHF hopes to work together with extra NGOs to expand its delivery service. The ultimate goal is to spread more than 20,000 boxes of AID – 1.2 million meals – in Gaza every day.
Despite negative feedback about the GHF model of the UNRWA and NGOs, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke about the important role that the new assistant system plays in getting Gazans.
In an exclusive interview with FOX Business’ Maria Bartiromo on ‘Mornings with Maria’, Netanyahu was asked if he would agree to the UN leading the benefits of humanitarian aid in Gaza.

“We have our own distribution system that has been established to prevent Hamas from stealing the food that should go to the population,” Netanyahu replied. “They steal it, they take it for themselves and the rest, they walk the prices and actually take the Palestinian population to use it to continue recruiting people to their war machine.
“It is clear that we do not want to give up what we started, what distribution is that goes directly to the people.”
The US Department of Foreign Affairs has already approved the $ 30 million financing for GHF.
