Editors’ note: The following is an exclusive fragment adapted from the new book by the author, “Traitors: the collapse of the Democratic Party in Anti-American dirt.”
When President Donald Trump sent an order signed and sent national guards to Memphis to grab control of the unbridled crime problem of the city, he said, “We will no longer allow this kind of cruelty to destroy our society.” Normal Americans know exactly why he said it and what he meant, but democratic leaders continue to attack the president and his supporters for demanding dramatic action to bring the law and order. That’s because the modern Democratic party is openly and flawlessly anti-American.
The Biden years turned out to be dangerous and literally fatal, largely thanks to the continuous denials of his party that crime was as bad as everyone could see clearly. All viral videos of looting, street violence and destruction of real estate shocked the nation. Why did it happen?
The reasons for the chaos were not up for discussion, but hard Democrats would have liked the issue too complicated (what they did when they didn’t just lie about it). From 2020, the year of our Floyd, the party has set up widespread violent racing riots and maintained the lie that black Americans are systematically shot down on the street by racist agents, so that all criminal activities are committed by blacks in the name of “Equity”. Democrraat-ranked state laws, mayors, councils and public prosecutor were fully authorized to allow damage. They legalized theft, stopped prosecuting criminals and released violent repeated perpetrators without bail.
Dem crime policies even paralyze cities in red states as the performance intensifies, the White House warns
As I describe in my new book “Traitors: The Democrat Parties’s collapse in anti-American dirt”, this is the behavior of a party that simply rejects the norms and principles that should unite us. As proud citizens, they should like to cherish, promote and protect unmistakably American concepts such as the rule of law and personal safety for everyone. Democrats no longer share those concepts.
Democrats have left the values that our nation built. (Istock)
The modern democratic view is that America is only a place with a shameful past. Today’s Democrats do not believe that America is good or that his people are bound by a common matter. They believe that America is irreparably used by the founding history and that there are irreconcilable differences of race, religion and sex, for which the only remedy is constant, endless conflict.
The animating power of the American left is on-American, and the contemptuous Democrats openly express a country that admires others so deeply embarrassing. America remains the envy of the world, even while Democrats try to destroy it every day.
Vance says that the left left now defends ‘violent crime’, as Trump shows ‘political genius’
Although my mother is a literal Mexican immigrant who speaks Spanish, the only language I fluent in is English. She taught me neither my sister Spanish and the reasons for that tended to change over the years, but I always remembered one in particular: she was convinced that bilingual meant that we would not be completely assimilated as Americans. I wanted to be sure that I hadn’t remembered that detail wrong, so when I completed my first version of this book, I repeated her reasoning to her. “And I assist,” she said.
It is not as if my mother is new in America. As a child she spent some time in California, but usually lived in Mexico. That was until she was in her teenage years when she moved to South California as a permanent legal resident. Not long after she met my father, a (white) American navy on the base where they both worked. After getting married, he said she had to apply for a citizenship, what she did and eventually earned in the 1980s.
It was not just our language that she made our assimilation. To this day, my mother has strong contempt for residents and citizens who show their homeland flags on their cars, houses or clothing (especially Puerto Ricans, but that’s just a Spanish rivalry). Without exception, when she sees one, she says a variation of: “Dom. You are in this country. Don’t wave your flag here.” That intensity of her patriotism, a powerful mix of deep gratitude and loyalty, was passed on to both of her children. Mission accomplished, mom.
Democrats can lead to stopping crime. A candidate in Virginia knows the way
It is also not as if she was read deep in American history. My mother is incredibly smart and likes to learn, but only has a high school diploma. She just has endless thanks for a country that, better than anywhere else, offered her safety, opportunities and a wide open shot to create a life for herself and her children that would be infinitely better than where she came from. To see others, whether native or born abroad, without the same appreciation, leads to a furious fire in my mother.

However, the same applies to my father, however, he is a little less vocal about it. And the same applies to me. I am also not a scholar about the revolutionary war, the civil rights movement or one of our founders. But America is my home, and I have learned enough and saw enough other places to know that my country is extraordinary. More than any other place, my personal choices here can give me a comfortable, clean and safe life. That can’t be said anywhere else, and I am endlessly grateful for it.
I appreciate my mother’s heritage. I like Mexican food and Latin music. But I don’t identify with it, although someone who looks at me would certainly know that I am something other than white.

I will never forget to attend a Spanish festival as a child with my mother – I always hated it – and seeing a couple of other children playing football. A man who knew my mother asked me if I wanted to participate. I said no, because I had no idea how to play. “You don’t know how to play football?!” he said. “Man, that’s your culture!” Even at the age of 8, the look on my face must have been pure bewilderment. I grew up in a suburb of Charleston, South Carolina, had no lick of Spanish and my favorite singer was Michael Jackson. Football and Spanish festivals were demonstrably not my culture.

I was raised to be proud of America and nowhere else. I was raised to give it and respect everything that makes it possible – the laws, expectations and, more important than everything else, the people who came for me and pass it on.
There is a good chance that I would have been born somewhere else in the world. But I have to be born here. That is the ultimate winning lottery ticket of life. It’s fragile. Real American patriots know that. Democrats no longer do that.
