While we are entering the 2026 elections, Democrats in important battlefield states are tone deaf and commit political malpractice while doubling policy that defeats common sense and families.
Instead of listening to the American people, they push a losing message to enable biological men to compete in women’s sports. Although most families are worried about putting food on the table, paying for gas and groceries and keeping their children safe, Democrats are fixed on defending policy that our girls actively harm.
Some try to frame this debate as hatred, but the real problem is fair. Women’s Athletics was built to allow competition for women and girls on a level playing field based on organic sex. The progress for the sport of women who have been earned for decades of sacrifice and hard work is now being erased by a baked ideology that places politics about facts.

Recent poll makes one thing clear: the American people do not buy this. A Gallup survey showed that almost 70% of Americans, including a majority of Democrats, believe that athletes should compete on the basis of their gender at birth. An NBC news research showed that 75% of the adults say that biological men are not allowed to play in sports sports, with two of the three gene Z -voters who agree. And a New York Times/Ipsos survey placed that number even higher at 79%.
Common Sense says that women’s sports are only for women
In summary, the message is unmistakable: about festive lines, the American people believe overwhelming and unambiguously that men do not belong to women’s sports.
Yet Democrats such as Senator Jon Ossoff in Georgia, former senator Sherrod Brown in Ohio, former government Roy Cooper in North Carolina and Gov. Janet Mills in Maine in Maine in another reality against the will of the American people. They have betrayed their voters by opposing common sense measures to protect women’s sport, so that they are placed directly against the national majority.
In Georgia, Ossoff joined Senate Democrats to block the protection of women and girls in the Sports Act, even when his own state stirs the “Riley Gaines Act” to ban the same practice. He chose Washington Democrats about Georgia families.
Brown in Ohio is even worse. In Washington he voted for biological men to compete in girls’ sports. Families in Ohio rejected his extremism and approved the safe act to protect girls in K – 12 athletics. After he has now thrown away by voters, Brown has the bile for the Senate again.

Brown’s record is one of betrayal when he turned his back on Ohio’s families and pushed a platform that punishes women and girls. Brown must lose if we want to have a chance to protect the sport of women and to protect the future of our daughters.
And North Carolina is no different. As governor, Cooper used his power to have a veto about fairness in Women’s Sports Act, which ensured that athletes compete on the basis of their biological sex. The legislators have exceeded his veto and prove how from Touch Cooper with his own state.
While Cooper tried to block honesty in girls’ sport, Gov. Mills in Maine even further by refusing to comply with the executive Order of President Donald Trump that prohibits biological men from women’s sports in federally funded programs. Her resistance put millions in the risk of education financing, all to push a radical agenda at the expense of the safety and opportunities of girls.
By adding up Ossoff, Brown, Cooper and Mills, the American people can see that the Democratic Party is with a fringe ideology that betrays parents, fairness and our women and girls. While Democrats cling to this failing story, the rest of the country moves in the opposite direction, in a total protection mode for women’s sports.

President Trump led the National Movement for Commonsense by signing an executive order in February 2025 who prohibit biological men to participate in women’s sports in federally funded programs. It was a decisive step that serves as a victory for fairness and science, and is a lifeline for female athletes whose dreams and opportunities are in danger.
This was also a wake-up call about honesty and a correction of injustice. Large athletic organizations, including the NCAA, are now following the leadership of President Trump and make important changes to adapt to the new federal standard. The updated policy explicitly states that a student athlete who has assigned a man at birth may not be able to compete with a women’s team, to replace the patchwork system they had earlier.
States such as Indiana, Montana and Nebraska also take action to protect women’s sports. Americans want a commons -approach that protects our values of honesty, opportunities and protection for women.

This issue is very personal for parents like me throughout the country. We do not want our daughters – who spend years on practices, training and sacrifice – losing biological men with clear physical benefits. And we certainly do not want them in changing rooms where safety and privacy should be of the utmost importance.
From a legal point of view, this is also about Title IX, the historical law made to guarantee equal opportunities for women in education and athletics. By ignoring the earlier discrimination that fought women to overcome and the biological reality of sex, Democrats dismantle the law they claim to maintain the door and open it for boys to take over girls.
Today the fight is about honesty and safety. Parents require their daughters to be protected. Athletes deserve a level playing field. Voters want leaders to be well -founded in common sense. Democrats in Swing -States who refuse to protect girls and women’s sports, alienate from women, parents and gene Z – voters who reject overwhelming boys who participate in girls’ sports. They leave the voters they need and it costs them elections.

The Midterms 2026 will be a moment of truth. Democrats must decide whether they are clinging to the rand ideology or are in the vast majority of Americans who believe in honesty for women and girls.
The future of women’s sports and the opportunities of our daughters are at stake. And if Democrats still refuse to listen, voters will remind them of the ballot box. This is not just about honesty in sport – it is about a fundamental betrayal of American women, and it will not be forgotten.
