The American ambassador at the United Nations Mike Waltz said he believes that President Donald Trump’s new Gaza peace plan could be a “unique chance of the Middle East Peace”.
On Monday, Trump released his Gaza Peace Plan, with which Israel agreed. Despite the American criticism of the UN actions in Gaza, the plan is based on the help of the international body. When asked how this would work, Waltz said that the US, while working with the UN in Gaza, continued to “keep calling” and will demand “reforms”.
The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, supported by the US and Israel,, which was heavily criticized by the UN, said on Friday that it had delivered more than 178 million meals since the operation started in May.

After his appointment, Waltz hit the role on September 19, just a few days before the international body kept its ‘week at high level’. During that week, leaders from all over the world, including Trump, spoke that they argue in New York City.
He compared this ethos with Trump’s interaction with Iran in the summer.
“He gave them the opportunity after the opportunity to run away from a armed nuclear program, to transfer their enriched materials, to enter into diplomacy and when they did not do that, our amazing B-2s went out,” he said.

Waltz to eradicate anti -Semitism, to eliminate ‘gesture’ programs, get back to basics’ at the United Nations
Waltz said he was looking for the visions of Trump and State Secretary Marco Rubio to implement the first policy of America and “make the UN great again.” He said that the establishment of his roots had left and did not act as a place where everyone from all over the world could work out problems, but the US wants to reduce that.
The other important priority for the US at the UN, according to Waltz, is to get rid of ‘the bloat’.
Waltz pointed to a recent mood about Haiti as an example of the US who worked to achieve results at the UN as a former Congressman from Florida, he noted that the lawlessness in Haiti spilled on American coasts. However, Waltz believes that the UN supported by the UN will restore the law and order, without making the American foot the bill.
“In accordance with what the president has demanded, we are going to share the burden,” said Waltz. “Other countries are involved. Kenya has taken the lead, El Salvador plays a key role. Other countries pay for it. It is not only everything on the shoulders of the United States.”

Waltz recognized the skepticism of Americans about the UN, but he argued that it is essential for the leaders of the world to meet each other on American soil and that Washington stays at the table. He also pointed to the growing influence of international bodies on the US economy through regulations.
“There are all these international authorities that can directly influence our economy and way of life that touch aviation and how we fly around the world, space, telecommunications, radio, data,” he said. “And just as we fight for deregulation in our own federal government, we certainly do not want a global over regulation in many of our industries.”
Waltz emphasized that remain involved worldwide is crucial to protect American interests and to prevent bad actors from filling the void.
“We have to say that is involved, I think, to fight for the values that we are dear. And if there is something, this president is a hunter. We keep fighting for our way of life,” said Waltz.
