The world for the better changed on Saturday evening thanks to the devastating strikes of America at important Iranian nuclear facilities – a mission that is so effective that it forces Iran to sue with Israel within two days before peace. Americans owe the debts of gratitude to the brave soldiers who have performed this operation and to President Donald Trump for making this memorable and necessary decision.
For the past 46 years, America may not have been at war with Iran – but Iran was certainly at war with America. From murder plots on American leaders to the proxy forces who kill American soldiers in Iraq, Tehran is responsible for the death of more than a thousand Americans. The destruction of the Great Satan (America) and De Kleine Satan (Israel) is embedded in the DNA of this regime, which remains the leading state sponsor of the terrorism of the world. Allowing this bad dictatorship to acquire a nuclear weapon would have been a serious breach of duty.
President Trump has been clear that he does not allow the Islamic Republic to acquire nuclear weapons. Yet presidents often make such promises and do not omit them – think of the “red line” of President Obama in Syria, or the tandless warnings by President Joe Biden to Russia prior to the 2022 invasion in Ukraine.
Trump announces the historic Iran and Israel counter -style agreement to end ’12 Day War ‘
By following his vow, President Trump communicated to Iran – and to the world – that America means things. President Trump gave the Iranian regime every opportunity to negotiate, but would not fall for the tactics of the regime to spin conversations forever while racing to nuclear outbreak.
These strikes embody the vision “America First” of the foreign policy that we pursued during my time as a State Secretary in the first Trump government. We have thrown away the disastrous Iran deal of the Obama administration and moved our policy from reconciliation to maximum pressure -imposing real costs for the poor behavior of Iran. When Iranian Proxy’s American soldiers killed, we took revenge by eliminating Quds Force Commander Qassem Soleimani.
Strikingly against the regime, their ability to project power in the region and enabled us to forge the historic Abraham agreements between Israel and various Muslim countries. And although they cannot yet say publicly, I do not doubt that our Gulf Arabian allies thank us today.
The authoritarian allies of Iran in Beijing and Moscow must take this into account. The fact that neither Xi Jinping nor Vladimir Putin has come to Iran’s help, tells us everything we need to know about the power of that alleged sustainable safety and diplomatic partnership.
Russia and China lose considerably from a weakened Iran: Iran’s ability to offer military hardware to Russia for his war against Ukraine has now been compromised and an important source of pressure on American interests in the region is on the rear foot.
Of course, none of these achievements is without risk, as we saw with Monday’s attacks on American soldiers in the middle, who were fortunately intercepted. Iran is not there to keep his word known and has a long history of using terrorist cells and proxy forces to work their will, and America and our allies must be alert to this danger. President Trump, however, has made it completely clear that the days that Iran holds a sword above our heads, and the United States will unleash hell when an American will be harmed in the coming days.

It is also important to note that there is still work to ensure that Iran’s nuclear program is completely dismantled. The American and Israeli intelligence services will have to find out what material the regime was able to spread these strikes. But there can be no doubt that their capacities are greatly reduced – and that is due to the United States and Israel.
The critics on the left and on the right who warned that we started a “Forever War”, missed the goal again. What President Donald Trump initiated was a limited mission to end the war that the Iranian regime has been playing against the American people and our allies for decades. And although military action is always a calculated risk, inactivity, given the state of the Iranian nuclear program, was a much greater threat to American safety. If there was ever a time to act to put an end to the unacceptable threat of a nuclear Iran, that was now.

The end of this story is not yet written, but one thing is certain: the strikes of Saturday evening were a triumph of decisive leadership that will go a long way to the dictum of President Reagan of “peace through strength” a reality.
The enemies of America must know that we want peace, but are completely willing to take decisive military action if the situation requires this. We have made that now – and America is safer today.
