After the speaker Mike Johnson had made the ridiculous claim that Donald Trump was an informant against Jeffrey Epstein, he had to be opposed to reporters on Monday and walk it all back.
Johnson was asked: “What did you mean by that?”
Rep. Johnson replied:
What I referred to, Mr., in that long conversation was what the victim’s lawyer said. More than a decade ago, President Trump Epstein from Mar-A-Lago kicked, and he was one of the only people, one of the only prominent people, as everyone has reported, not President Trump, but everyone about him he was willing to help enforcement behind this guy who was a disgusting, sexhandel.
So the president was helpful. I don’t know if I use the right terminology, but that is generally known and everyone knows that. So this has been highly lifted about nothing.

Mike Johnson said that the president of the United States was an informant against one of the worst sexual criminals in American history, but now the speaker claims that it is nothing.
Johnson was later asked: “So he was once asked to wear a thread or something?”
The speaker replied: “I have no idea. No, I don’t say that. I have no information about that.
We went from Trump as an informant against Epstein to Trump was useful for the police about Epstein, which is a vague term that is not the same as an informant or an active role in the investigation.
It sounds like Mike Johnson invented Trump’s helpfulness on the study because it was never heard before Jeffrey Epstein became a political anchor for Trump’s neck.
If Trump was such a hero in the Epstein case, why would Trump not release the Epstein files?
The answer is that Johnson not only had to humiliate himself to get out of this mess, but he also continues to lie to protect Trump.
