After failed attempts, Mancuso blamed the Wi-Fi before throwing the segment back to Zuckerberg.
The second stumbling came during a showcase of the neural band. Zuckerberg has successfully sent and received a text from Meta CTO Andrew Bosworth.
But when Bosworth tried to start a WhatsApp video talk, the glasses would not pick it up.
Zuckerberg rumbled with the interface before he gives it up. Bosworth finally ran on stage and jokes about “brutal wi-fi” while the audience laughed.
“You practice these things like a hundred times, and then you never know what will happen,” said Zuckerberg.

Despite the internship glitches, Zuckerberg framed the glasses like a leap forward in AI-driven personal technology.
He emphasized that the devices represent Meta’s vision of a future where portable AI assistants handle needs and tasks with minimal user inspections.
“Mark has enthusiasm, and so he was willing to take the risk, but unfortunately it did not go his way in a few cases,” Ulanoff added.
“I am sure that Mark Zuckerberg felt extremely uncomfortable, but I give him the honor for maintaining his calmness and making a joke about everything.”
