The White House should not let Trump wander around unattended. On Wednesday, the president appeared at a Black History Month event, and like your racist uncle, after having a few too many drinks at the family party, he decides he’s going to prove he’s not racist by calling out his black friends.
Trump said:
Mike Tyson. Boy, I’m telling you, Mike has stayed true to me. Every time they come out they say, Trump is a racist. You know? It’s like a statement. Trump is a racist. Mike Tyson says he’s not a racist. He’s my friend. That’s him. Been there from the beginning.
Good and bad times. But Mike Tyson is a great guy and he was so loyal, always been loyal and Herschel Walker, speaking of loyal, how good of a football player he was. Herschel Walker. Now he is ambassador to the Bahamas. Don’t know. Bahamas. Bermuda, is he Bahamian? Whatever. It’s fun. A nice place. You’d like that, Bruce, wouldn’t you?
Bruce wants it. And a friend, a man who became real. He loved Trump. Jim Brown. He was tough. He had entered. He was very quiet. He was silent, but deadly. He came in and looked at people and if he didn’t like them he just looked at me and left, no. He wanted to rip out their hearts. I would say they couldn’t be a better football player, bigger football player than Jim Brown.
By the way, Lawrence Taylor, great friend Lawrence, the great Lawrence Taylor, probably the greatest defensive player in the history of football. He’s a good friend of mine and uh, but I’m taller off the tee than him. Do you know why? Because they take the club further. He brings the club back that far and hits it 200 yards.
If you can do that, you are strong. He’s a great, he’s a great guy. I’ll tell you.
Video:
Mike Tyson is a convicted rapist who spent years in prison. Lawrence Taylor is a registered sex offender after being found guilty of sexual misconduct with a minor. These are two examples of what Trump considers a “great guy.”
At least Trump was actually talking about black people, but that wasn’t the case when he was ranting about election conspiracies and Joe Biden.
