Redistrict is a matter for political junkies. Your average American is not obsessed with district cards, even if they help determine who is in the majority. They adopted a redistrict plan from the Commission in Texas on 2 August, as a result of which Texas fled Democrats to Illinois and other blue states to deny a legislative quorum.
Parker Thayer from the Capital Research Center tickled me by tweeting: “Go to Illinois to protest that grymage is when going to Wisconsin to protest against cheese.” Redistrict in Blue States is never national ‘news’, because the maximizing democratic seats is beautifully considered as just and humane.
These networks are not referees or moderators or reformers who simply want sensible distribution into the public interest. They are a partisan deputy that only consider gerrymeering as outrageous when republicans are accused of doing it.

On November 23, 2021 – the Tuesday before Thanksgiving that year – Democrat Gov. signed. JB Pritzker off a redistribution card for Illinois who shamelessly gerymrormandered Republicans, especially poor Adam Kinzinger, That was busy offering Nancy Pelosi on January 6 on January 6.

ABC, CBS and NBC have not broadcast anything. Only the “PBS News” hour touched it briefly. Their guest Dave Wasserman of Cook’s political report was Bot: “This is a pretty aggressive Democratic Grymander … Just showing the lengths to which parties go, to try to anchor their advantage.”
Texas Democrats also traveled to New York this week, where Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul claimed: “This is a war! We are at war.” She is not at war with criminals or terrorists. She is at war with Republicans. She promised to resume New York. But Wait – Hochul drew a Gerrymandered card last year on 28 February 2024 last year. Network coverage last year? Zero. Zippy.
Abbott, Paxton launches Legal Blitz about fleeing Democrats at the Herdistrict Showdown
On ABC’s George Stephanopoulos show on Sunday there was panic about Texas. Former Obama -Procurer -General Eric Holder warned: “Our democracy is really threatened by what the Republicans now represent in Texas.” Stephanopoulos could only ask: “Is there a way to stop?”
Democrats claim that democracy is strong or weak, depending on whether they are in power or not. When they lose, democracy dies.
All three networks jumped on the Texas story on Monday morning. “CBS Mornings” Queen Gayle King used the D-word: “Texas Democrats Flee to Illinois about what they call a power grip of Republicans, a fight with enormous implications for congress and democracy. It is a confrontation that can have a major impact on democracy in this country.”
ABC’s Jonathan Karl was the only one who remarks that this is not only a Republican tactic: “Democrats also played the game, in the states they have mastered. In deep blue California, for example, 38% voted Republicans, and from the 52 congress districts, only nine are held by Republicans.”

On “Today” by NBC, co-gastheer Craig Melvin announced: “Our top story on this Monday morning, that growing confrontation in Texas about a controversial redistribution plan.” The networks decide what “controversial” is and what is not. Everything they don’t like is ‘controversial’. Everything they like is fine, as good as the mental state of former President Joe Biden.
At least Melvin asked reporter Ryan Chandler: “How much of these is only a stunt?” Or is there an indication that this step could actually work through Democrats? “Chandler said it is only temporary, it will not take.

On Monday, August 4, Chandler distracted due to warnings from Democratic Governors Kathy Hochul and Gavin Newsom That they too would strive for new congress cards to go to their party … to omit the fact that they have already tried to get a maximum of Gymander.

On “CBS Evening News”, reporter Ed O’Keefe noticed what Democrats did: “If you look here in Illinois, they have signed their card so that Republicans hardly have any seats.”
Colbert confronts JB Pritzker with map that shows Illinois into grymage
Bizarre enough, the toughest broadcast of CBS commercy Stephen Colbert, who held a map of the Illinois congress map and told Pritzker: “If you are considering doing a little more re -marks in Illinois, you already have a number of crazy districts in Illinois.”
“PBS News Hour” still draws on tax money when it promotes the Democratic party line, especially the part about how the “Disfranching” minorities is. On Monday, PBS’s Stephanie Sy passed on: “In addition to what Democrats see as a cheeky grip, the new card could disproportionately deprive Black and Latino voters.”

On August 5, PBS Anchor Geoff Bennett repeated it: “Some Democrats are in Illinois. They said today that the re -signed card would deprive voters of color and that they will not deteriorate.”

According to this definition, if you are black and you cannot vote for Texas Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett, your voting rights will be refused. It is explicitly racial: if blacks cannot vote for a black democrat, we are back in Jim Crow Times.
Polls show that the Democrats are a mess. The socialist Bernie Bros (and Gals) hates the party company because it is never awake enough. It does not destroy capitalism and police departments quickly enough. It does not resist deportations enough. It does not support Israel enough Islamists. Now they are not in danger of being gerymende enough. But you cannot win a majority if you are polls in the toilet.
