McDonald’s will shake things up later this summer with new drink options, including cold brews and refreshers, which touches menus at more than 500 of the American restaurants.
The upcoming line -up – which is part of a market test – is inspiration from the spider -off restaurant of the COSMCs chain, which are mainly focused on special drinks. The fast food giant announced in May that it closed all the locations of the COSMC, while the identification of some of the drinks would be made available at McDonald’s locations. The tested drinks include fruity refreshers, cold coffee, soft drinks and more, according to a press release from McDonald’s.
McDonald’s introduces sweet, spicy summer menu -items
The fast food chain has so far announced five of the new drinks: creamy vanilla-cold brew, strawberry watermeloenerschelel, sprite lunar plunge, popping tropical refresher and roasted vanilla-frappé.
From 2 September, customers can try the new beverage arrangement in McDonald’s restaurants in Wisconsin, Colorado and nearby areas, as noted in the press release.

“We see real momentum in beverages, with more people, especially our gene-fans-wends to cold, tasteful drinks as a go-to treat,” said Alyssa Buetikofer, Chief Customer Experience and Marketing Officer at McDonald’s USA, in a statement. “It is a great opportunity for us to meet the evolving flavors of our American customers and to appear at new moments, such as afternoon renewal or snack breaks.”

The company uses the test to learn which drinks and operations work well in the US, so that it can then be “smart and fast”, says McDonald’s.
