This week, the University of Pennsylvania collapsed to reality and the Trump administration in an agreement that the school of men of women’s sports and comic translmmer Lia Thomas prohibit from his files.
It is justice for victims of Penn’s earlier policy, including Thomas, himself.
The capitulation of Penn on the Trump administration is the newest nail in the box of the transgender movement, because the central starting point of that movement is that there is no difference between a woman and a man who occurs as a woman.

If, as Penn now admits, men who occur as women have clear benefits in sport, then the entire building of transgenderism comes down and in this case it fell on the head and shoulders of Lia Thomas.
Thomas started his college -swimming career in 2017 in Penn’s men’s team and was a mediocre artist. Just before Covid he started switching and by the 2021 season he had met the hormone requirements of the NCAA to compete with the ladies team.

We all saw what happened afterwards. Thomas not only struck, but humiliated the women with whom he competed. Some, such as swimmer Riley Gaines, were brave enough to call the rank unfair to be branded as a transfobe Bigots.
Of course Gaines and others of her peers were the victims of Penn and NCAA’s policy. Today they have become as a victor, and although nothing can give them back their university career, they have protected those of girls and women on their paths.
Thomas, on the other hand, went from the hero of the transmit to a chattered former athlete whose records are scrubbed and the poster child for the lie that those at Penn, whose task it was to protect and teach him.
At a healthy university, in a healthy world, Thomas would have been told, when he tried to become a member of the ladies team, that he is a man and otherwise pretend is pure make-faith. But our academic elites decided a long time ago that gender is a subjective, incomprehensible mystery.
Even Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson is so twisted by progressive Jibberjabber that she cannot define what a woman is. It is laughable, but in the case of Thomas it has also caused a lot of damage.
The general attitude of Americans towards transgenderism is that they don’t really care how adults choose to live, but if it is unfair towards women, such as men in their sport, hiding places or prisons, we cannot allow that.

This balance has increasingly served to protect women, such as Penn’s decision this week, but it does nothing to protect the teenagers and young adults whose fantasies are surrendered by left -wing ideologists.
In retrospect, and for many at the time, it is completely clear that encouraging Thomas to beat hell from women in the swimming pool and then celebrating it as a victory of civil rights, was not about helping Thomas, but the progressive matter.
Thomas cannot be fully acquitted for his role in stealing the athletic glory of women. After all, he was technically an adult by the time of his transition. But adults, educators who should have known better celebrated Thomas’ delusions when they should have helped him accept reality.

But in a sense it is the opposite because the Ivy League institution finally accepts that pigs cannot actually fly and men cannot become women.
After Tuesday’s decision by Penn to recognize the reality of biological sex and gender, it can no longer be considered responsible to encourage children or adults to pretend they are a gender that they are not.
To spoil gender fantasies is not a neutral position, it is rather the announcement of a dangerous and harmful lie, and unfortunately Lia Thomas will not be the last victim.

The tide about transgenderism no longer changes, it has changed. The concept has been rejected and we must make it clear at every level that biological sex is a reality.
Penn’s decision this week, and those who will probably follow from other schools will protect female athletes. That is a huge victory, but we also have to protect the other victims of transgenderism, who, like Lia Thomas, are taught to live a lie. For them, the reality always comes right.
