I was born in India but made in America. My father, a proud Indian naval officer, gave up everything – his career, comfort and country – for a chance of the American dream. He brought my mother, my brother and me to the United States with only $ 80 and a belief in the American dream.
My father gave up everything – not to get help or special treatment, but to pursue a future based on freedom and merit. He scrubbed toilets, worked night shifts and shared a house with my grandparents and relatives. My father never complained or asked handouts. He simply sought the opportunity to build a future through hard work and dignity.
My family followed the legal process. We have submitted paperwork, paid the required reimbursements, attended interviews with the government, passed the citizenship exam and ultimately an oath of loyalty to the United States of America. That is the American way: not cutting the line or violating the law, but earning your place through sacrifice and assimilation.

Nowadays, however, the American dream is re -defined and undermined by those who treat it as a right instead of as an achievement.

The modern Democratic party has legal immigration in a clou and offers citizenship to those who circumvent the law. By fading the boundary between legal and illegal fade, they betray the ideals they claim to maintain.
Not all immigrants are the same. Consider Albert Einstein, who has fled Nazi persecution and has changed the course of science. Elon Musk, who left South Africa, worked his way through school and helped to bring about a revolution in technology and space. Madeleine Albright, who escaped communist tyranny and became the first female State Secretary of the United States. Each of these individuals earned their place in America through faithfulness, contribution and sacrifice.

Compare their legacy with that of Victor Martínez Hernández, who killed Rachel Morin after several illegal entries in the country. Or Sebastian Zapeta Calil, who was accused of set fire to a woman in a metro in New York. Or Lina Maria Orovio Hernandez, that was accused of stealing More than $ 400,000 to benefits financed by the taxpayer and illegally votes in the 2024 elections. These are not the same stories and the law must reflect that reality.
Millions of legal immigrants, such as my family, followed the rules. We waited, worked and learned English. We have assimilated. Under the broken border policy of Democrats, on the other hand, millions came into the United States illegally – without documentation, screening or any intention to become Americans in the full sense.

The threat is greater than most admitting. We are confronted with an invasion of non-gaavette individuals of their fighting men from China, Iran and violent regions of the Middle East. Human traffickers and cartels have come loose, make and mistreat women and children who trusted them to reach the US
The Open-Borde Policy of the Democrats has fueled this black terrorist market. This is not just a failure – it is a national security crisis and a humanitarian disaster. And those who say: “They are just here to work” – do not apologize to breaking the law.
The Supreme Court has a great chance of helping to solve illegal immigration
Desire a better life is not an excuse to break the law. Every illegal entry ignores those who strive for citizenship correctly. Rewarding such behavior – by the status of sanctuary, government benefits or accelerated citizenship – sends a dangerous and deep unjust message: that laws are optional and that effort is not relevant.

The consequences are real. Working class Americans wear the cost-overcrowded hospitals and schools, higher house prices and declining safety. This is not a compassion; It’s injustice. The rhetoric of “Equity” is armed to build a new cupboard system-where legal immigrants and authority-wide citizens are pushed aside, while the law retirers are increased and subsidized. This is not honest. It is a grip on power.
I am proud of my Indian heritage – but I am even more proud to be an American. Citizenship is not just a status; It is a sacred commitment to defend the Constitution, to maintain the law and to give more than you take. It means standing in line, adhering to the rules and embracing both the duties and the blessings of this country.
Morning Glory: About those illegal immigrants in the United States
Because I embraced America, it embraced me. I became a lawyer, media commenter, served in the national security and the Ohio Governor’s office and became the first female sports agent of Ohio-All at all thanks to a legally, merit-based system that is now being besieged.

Legal immigrants throughout America reject the false promises from the left. In 2016, President Donald Trump won 36% of the legal immigrant voice. By 2024 it rose to 47%. Even CNN can’t turn it. Why? Because we are tired of being ignored, not respected and deleted. We will not remain silent because our story is cooperated.

This Independence Day, remember that freedom is not free and is not citizenship. Both must be earned.
For every legal immigrant who has followed the law: you can see this country, you appreciate and you need. You are not a footnote in the story of America. You are the backbone. We do not let that legacy be stolen.
