Some fireworks companies warn that rates can delay things before the 250th birthday of America in 2026. The American Pyrotechnics Association warned of a shortage of delivery with newly released products.
The biggest holiday in America of the summer has finally arrived – and while citizens are preparing to celebrate throughout the country, a recent report is the best and worst places to do that.
In an attempt to help Americans find the best and most affordable places to go all the way for the opportunity spelled by star, Wallethub compared the 100 largest American cities based on how well they have fun and costs when discovering the upper and lower destinations on July 4, 2025.
“July 4 is one of the most popular holidays in America, so that many of us can not only celebrate our independence, but also get a day off and come together with family and friends,” said Wallethub analyst Chris Lupo In the press release.
“The best cities for the holidays help you most of your day,” he continued, “with affordable food options, good weather, nice recreational choices and long, spectacular fireworks shows.”

The Wallethub dataset ultimately analyzed five important statistics, ranging from the duration of fireworks, shows weather forecasts, from affordability to attractions and from activities to safety and accessibility.

Top 5 cities for celebrations of the fourth July
1. Las Vegas, Nevada
Wallethub has awarded the number 1 place to Las Vegas, where fireworks illuminate the air for about 15 minutes and residents have the opportunity to buy and light their own.
Vegas is also great for food options, notes the report, as one of the best cities for affordable restaurants with at least 4.5 stars. Safety is also advertised because the city has one of the lowest shares of fatal accidents as a result of drunk driving.
2. New York, New York
You want to be part of it-New York City is the second best before July 4, because it leads the country in terms of affordable ates. The fireworks show of the Big Apple takes 25 minutes, but residents may not buy their own.

Wallethub points out that what distinguishes New York is high-quality parks, entertainment and recreational facilities where tourists can enjoy, even after the Independence Day.
3. Los Angeles, California
Preparation for your fourth July Bash is apparently the easiest in LA, where Wallethub says that the city has the second most supply of parties per head of the population. Angelenos also searches Google for terms with regard to “July 4” more than people in most other cities in the US.
LA is preparing to let the sun shine with unlikely chances of precipitation, and the running is high compared to other areas.

4. Minneapolis, Minnesota
Minneapolis gets the most points from the affordability category, followed by the large amount of attractions and activities that it has to offer.
The category again ranked at number 39 out of 100, because the city mainly expected sun in 90 degrees temperatures with heat advice.
5. St. Paul, Minnesota
Only a few miles east of Minneapolis, neighboring St. Paul Also ensures a nice fourth of July trip for similar reasons such as his number 4 competitor. St. Paul is high for its safety, accessibility and affordability, and will probably also see similar sunny weather conditions.
Worst 5 cities for celebrations of the fourth July
1. Newark, New Jersey
Newark was at the bottom of the “Feesten” category and ranked low in affordability and activities indexes.
The only area where Newark scored strongly is when it comes to safety and accessibility.
2. Aurora, Colorado
On the other hand, Aurora is completely under the soil for its safety and accessibility around July 4 parties. The score of attractions and activities was also bland and unfortunately was not high on all statistics.
3. Laredo, Texas
Laredo also scored more impressive figures across the board and in that order was the worst ranked for attractions, weather, affordability and safety.
4. Cleveland, Ohio
Cleveland arranged poorly at their general parties, followed by safety and accessibility. However, the affordability and the number of activities of the city are on the top 50% of the places studied.

5. Jersey City, New Jersey
Not far from one of the best ranking competitors, Jersey City also saw the general bad scores for their fourth July parties. The affordability points fell at the very bottom of the couple at number 100, while it was the number 1 winner for safety and accessibility.
