Kevin O’Leary, chairman of O’Leary Ventures, joins ‘The Claman Countdown’ to address President Donald Trump’s tariff threat to Canada over a potential deal with China and stars in ‘Marty Supreme.’
“Shark Tank” star Kevin O’Leary strongly warned Canada about its potential trade agreement with Chinaarguing that the communist nation has “screwed” all its business partners during an interview Monday on “The Claman Countdown.”
“Canada will be no exception,” he said. “China is not your friend.”
O’Leary’s comments come as president Donald Trump has threatened to impose 100% import tax on goods imported from Canada due to the possible new trade deal with China.
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said on Sunday that his country has no plans to sign a free trade deal with China and that the recent agreement reduces tariffs for some sectors hit by tariffs.
Trump wrote on social media that Carney is “gravely mistaken” if he believes Canada can be used as a gateway for Chinese goods to the United States.
