Things are getting really weird during the Republican U.S. Senate primaries in Texas.
After Trump tried to end the runoff by volunteering to host a Bachelor-style reality show where he gets to choose the nominee, Paxton or Senator John Cornyn, and the person who doesn’t get the endorsement will have to drop out. Attorney General Paxton apparently shouted, “Hold my misdemeanor charges and made his own offer.”
Trump’s offer was based on an attempt to disenfranchise REPUBLICAN voters in Texas, proving that the president does not want anyone to have the right to vote in the United States.
The president’s offer dropped faster than his approval after he launched the war against Iran and raised gas prices, but in a sign that even Paxton seems to know he’s an anchor who could be destined to lose, the AG made his own offer to drop out of the race, but the offer was so crazy and politically charged that even in a second election it’s a spectacle that turns into a circus.
