Behind the scenes, Donald Trump is worried about Democrats taking back the House of Representatives and turning him into a lame duck as he unleashes a wave of investigations and measures to limit his power.
One of the reasons Democrats placed Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) in the position to serve as a member of the Judiciary Committee is that he is uniquely qualified to take on the challenges of the second Trump administration.
On Sunday, Raskin appeared on CNN’s State Of The Union, where he was asked how much the Trump administration is protecting Epstein survivors compared to protecting Trump.
Representative Raskin responded:
I would say probably zero and 100. They have shown no regard or regard for the victims of the survivors of this nightmare at all.
And it’s all about covering up things that Donald Trump doesn’t want to make public for whatever reason. Either about himself, other members of his family, friends, Jeffrey Epstein, or simply about the social business cultural network he was involved with for at least a decade, if not longer. Do you think these actions that the Department of Justice is taking in this area are specifically intended to protect Donald Trump?
What else? That’s what I mean, that’s their entirety. Business model. In effect, they are trying to reorganize American constitutional jurisprudence and the rule of law around the idea that the entire executive branch serves one man. That’s the unitary executive theory that it’s all about serving what Donald Trump wants.
Yeah, I can’t imagine what other interests they have in mind.

What Raskin said about impeachment should be of great concern to Trump and his party.
