Farmingdale, NY (AP) – Jake Knapp mourns the death of his two -year -old girlfriend, Make White, and describes her as selfless to others and filled with energy.
A friend of white Posted on her Instagram Page that she died earlier this week. The update did not mention how she died and Knapp chose not to share details.
“It is an understatement to say how difficult this is to process for anyone who knew Mak, especially her family and friends who earn privacy and respect in this difficult time,” said Knapp in comments that his manager sent to the Associated Press.
Knapp, an easy Californian who played at UCLA, won in his Rookie season at the PGA Tour Last year at the Mexico Open. He also shot 59 earlier this year on the Cognizant Classic. White posted a photo of them from that tournament, and noted that last month it was their second year together from “Watch your dreams live.”
“Making was such a thoughtful person whose selflessness towards others is something that I will always appreciate,” said Knapp. “We have shared so many unforgettable memories and now that she is no longer with us, it is a difficult reality to understand.
“She had an incredible family, good friends and her fun, outgoing energy will be missed by us all.”
