The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Thursday that it had begun attacking Hezbollah military targets in southern Lebanon.
An unmanned aircraft has reportedly hit a factory of a Hezbollah construction unit near Tire, a coastal city in southern Lebanon, Israeli news outlet reports Ynet reported thisciting the IDF. Ynet also noted that the IDF claimed the facility was being used to produce equipment for restoring terror infrastructure that Israel had destroyed in previous operations.
In preparation for the attacks, the IDF urged residents of al-Taybeh and Tayr Debba to flee. Israel added maps marking areas that would become dangerous for civilians once the attacks began.

“You are near buildings used by Hezbollah, and for your safety you are required to evacuate them immediately and stay at least 500 meters away from them,” the IDF said in an announcement to residents of the villages.
The announcement comes after Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said that “Hezbollah is playing with fire and the president of Lebanon is slow.”
“The Lebanese government’s commitment to dismantle Hezbollah’s weapons and remove them from southern Lebanon must be realized. Enforcement will continue and deepen – we will not allow any threat to the residents of the north,” Katz added.

TRUMP ADMIN PUTS PRESSURE LEBANON TO RECEIVE HEZBOLLAH, AS HEALTH CALLS NATION ‘failed state’
The IDF claimed it had killed “approximately twenty Hezbollah terrorists whose activities violated agreements between Israel and Lebanon.”
On Wednesday, the IDF said it had killed Hussein Jaber Dib, a member of Hezbollah’s Radwan force. Israel claimed that Dib had “committed terrorist attacks against Israel and its citizens.”
In addition, the IDF confirmed on Monday that it had killed two Hezbollah commanders in southern Lebanon. Muhammad Ali Hadid, a senior member of Hezbollah’s elite Radwan Force, was eliminated in Nabatieh, while another operative was attacked in Ayta ash Shab after he was seen gathering intelligence on Israeli positions, the Israeli military said.

“Hezbollah has not given up its heavy weapons,” the officer said. “They are still being trained, still being funded by Iran and still trying to reestablish their positions. Our job is to make sure they don’t succeed.”
Over the summer, Israel took an unprecedented step and launched sweeping attacks on Iran, which it dubbed “Operation Rising Lion.” The 12-day war with Iran ultimately involved the US, which succeeded in destroying the regime’s nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan.
