A top Iranian spiritual called for the executions of President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in accordance with Sharia legislation during a sermon on Friday.
Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami accused the two leaders of killing tens of thousands of people in Gaza and the murder of Qasem Soleimani, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds, according to a translation of the comments by Memri TV.
“You are murderers and you have to be punished,” said Khatami, according to the translation.
The crowd reacted with songs from “Death to America”, “Death to England” and “Death to Israel.”

Khatami is a member of the Guardian Council of the Iranian regime and a senior member of the Assembly of Experts.
Tensions between Iran and Israel escalated last month to a 12-day war, amid a continuous war between Israel and the Gaza-based Proxy Hamas of the regime, which started when the Israel group attacked on October 7, 2023.
Trump has made it clear that after the 12-day war between Israel and Iran he would like to see that the Gaza conflict will end soon.

The relationships between the US and Iran were also tense after the US launched a surprise strike on three of Iran’s most important nuclear sites last month.

Iranian officials have since launched a word war against Trump and demand that he respects Khamenei or else are at risk with the ‘real capacities’ of the regime.
